Wedding Planner @ Hotel Maiyango & St Martins House
All couples want their wedding to be unique, relaxed and something to remember! You will definitely find this at Hotel Maiyango.
And now, Maiyango Décor has a new look to add to the Classic or Vintage style already available…the NEW Moroccan style!
”Rock the Kasbah” is our richly hued Moroccan style décor, giving opulence to your wedding breakfast or buffet. Beyond doubt, a luxurious environment in which to entertain your guests.

Many of our wedding couples have dined in the Maiyango Restaurant and love the feel and character of the décor so now you can not only have the same award winning food on your day but also the same atmosphere.

Imagine your wedding reception…Your guests arrive into the contemporary Glass Bar with it’s roof top terrace!

They are welcomed with the tastes of Morocco – warm, spiced cocktails and delicious canapés such as roasted red pepper cappuccino with chilli infused oil or smoked duck breast with fresh figs on croutons.

You lead the way into the stunning Gallery, now dressed to impress with our new and rich Moroccan theme.

Don’t forget the special touches! Choose from mini coloured macaroons presented as wedding favors, name cards and menus designed to reflect this sophisticated environment and a unique wedding cake, designed to set the scene and tie it all together!

Your guests sit down to enjoy a specially designed menu, created by yourselves in collaboration with our head chef. Phil loves to do something different and works with couples to get the menu just right. We can even advise what wine you could have with each course to add extra flair!

Here is an idea of a wedding breakfast menu -:
To start …terrine of confit gressingham duck, ham hock and apple, toasted brioche, plum and juniper relish.
To continue…trio of moroccan spiced lamb, vegetable dauphinoise, apricot and almond jus.
To finish…Turkish Delight crème brûlée with chocolate and chilli sorbet, and a almond tuile.

After the toast, your guests can make their way into the Glass Bar. Here they can sit back and relax, enjoying Moroccan Mint tea
As your evening guests arrive, it’s time to start the party! Whether it’s a band or a DJ, the gallery transforms. We can turn down the lights, turn up the music and let you dance the night away!

An evening buffet is always a great idea to keep the late night munchies at bay. We have a range of options you can choose from, but just to give you a taster of what you could have…

tangine spiced lamb meat balls with toasted almonds and apricots
sweet chilli and lemon marinated corn fed chicken wings
smoked salmon and crab fish cakes
white chocolate and raspberry mini tartlets
A wedding with a difference!
Many Thanks to Rosie Parsons, Helen Roscoe, and Sarah Salotti for the lovely photos of the weddings they have enjoyed at Maiyango Hotel.
