10 Reasons to Visit us in Leicester During our 10 Year Anniversary Celebrations

This year we’re excited to be celebrating our tenth birthday. After winning gold in Visit England’s Taste of England category earlier in the year this has been a fantastic twelve months for our team. To celebrate we’ve organised some treats so that everyone can join in the festivities. Here are our top ten reasons to come and visit us in Leicester for our tenth anniversary celebrations!

  1. A free drink on us

We’re sharing the love with a free bottle of Prosecco for every table of four that dines from our a la carte menu, Monday to Friday throughout August and September 2015. All you need to do is quote ‘MAIYANGO IS 10′ when booking and we will do the rest. Cheers!

  1. A step back in time

Leicester is a city steeped in history, and has been in the news globally following the discovery of King Richard III’s remains. The Richard III visitor centre is the hub you need to find out everything about the once King of England. 2015 also marks the 800th anniversary of the Magna Carta. Explore Leicester’s connection with the ancient text with themed exhibitions and events throughout August and September.

  1. Shopping

It’s no secret that one of our favourite places to shop is Leicester’s market. It’s Europe’s largest covered market and has been voted Britain’s favourite. However, you’ll also find a diverse selection of shops from the highstreet’s best in the Highcross and to boutique, niche stores in the side streets and arcades of our wonderful city.
